The 13th Biannual Illinois Prescriptive Authority Networking Dinner

The 13th Biannual Illinois Prescriptive Authority Networking Dinner Event

I am happy to invite you to our in-person and Zoom hybrid Illinois Prescribing Psychologists' Thirteenth Biannual Networking Dinner Event on January 28th!

Featured on our Program will be Brandy Cooper-Kirby, PharmD, BCPS, the Medical Science Liaison for Psychiatry at AbbVie.  Dr. Cooper-Kirby will discuss her training at Chicago State University, Ingalls Memorial Hospital, and Mt. Sinai Hospital; her work with AbbVie; and will provide some data on the clinical trials for Vraylar (cariprazine).  Dr. Cooper-Kirby will also give an updated report on the status of pharmacists' prescriptive authority in Illinois.  Mark Taylor, our chief IAPP lobbyist in the firm, Taylor Uhe, will give us an update on our legislative strategy and goals for 2023.

As always, we will be learning about the current practice experiences of our 14 Illinois licensed prescribing psychologists; and the training experiences and career aspirations of our prescribing psychology trainees, who are both practicing psychologists and psychology graduate students. We will honor the milestones of both the practicing prescribing psychologists and those in training. In particular, we will highlight two young psychologists who have recently achieved major milestones in their careers: Dr. Brian Humphrey and Dr. Alyssa Cunningham.  Finally, we will be hearing from Prescriptive Authority leaders and educators, from around the country, as they give us updates on their states' RxP legislative advocacy progress.

Please use this LINK to RSVP to our networking event.  Please RSVP TODAY!   Even if you have already responded, by email, or by a direct conversation with me, please be sure to RSVP with this link. Thank-you so much!

Because we will be doing an indoor, maskless program and because of the diminishing, but ongoing concerns with Covid, we will be asking all in-person participants to be 5 days beyond a known Covid exposure; and to be symptom-free on the day of the event.  For those who will be joining us, remotely, we will be sending our Zoom link prior to the event.

We look very much forward to seeing all of you, either in-person or remotely, on Saturday, January 28th, at 7 pm CST!
